Doug Harris, Co-Founder

Doug is an entrepreneur and co-founder of TivaWater, He works full time as President of Harris Restaurant Group. In addition to extensive travel to Uganda working with TivaWater, Doug and his wife have visited over 50 countries around the world learning about different cultures and exploring some of the most majestic destinations.
David Ragland, Co Founder
David is the President of the National Christian Foundation of East Tennessee where he has directed major gifts to the organization for the past 15 years. Before working at National Christian Foundation of East Tennessee, David spent 20 years selling insurance. David volunteers time every week to TivaWater to help with strategic planning.

Daniel Ololia, President of TivaWater Uganda Ltd.
Daniel was born and raised in Uganda and now residing in the capital city of Kampala, Daniel is the majority shareholder and manager of the company, TivaWater Uganda, that distributes the filters to customers in Uganda and east central Africa. He manages the local office, sand production operation and sales team.

Neal Caldwell, Inventor

In 2008, Doug and David called on Neal to design a new household sand filter that would be lightweight, durable and highly effective. Neal is equipped with a unique set of gifts and talents that includes an engineering degree with over 30 patents, the owner of a successful plastic manufacturing company, and almost 40 years of experience serving on the board of a water treatment plant that uses sand. He is credited with the patents for both TivaWater 1.0 and TivaWater 2.0. Click Neal's picture to watch his story.
Olivia Harris, Brand & Business Development Manager

Olivia began working with TivaWater as a student intern during her studies at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and completed her senior thesis on marketing TivaWater in Uganda. After graduation, she spent two years fundraising for a large, non-profit hospital in San Diego, but her passion for bringing clean water to the world brought her back to the TivaWater team. She now oversees donor relations, fundraising and marketing.

Jake Ragland, International Business Manager

Jake has played an integral role in the success of TivaWater and began as a student intern conducting research, assisting in design of our prototype filters, water quality testing in our labs and in Uganda. Jake’s commitment to bringing safe drinking water to the world led him to join our team full-time. He develops strategic partnerships with community leaders to increase awareness and participation in the mission of TivaWater.

Diego Xirum, Guatemala Operations Manager

Diego is from Guatemala and he studied Business Administration in Broome Community College in New York State. His dream is to help people have a better quality of life. Diego joined TivaWater in 2013 and delivers filters to the poorest communities in Guatemala. Diego has seen first hand how our filter can change lives and is committed to the mission of TivaWater.
Joseph Niwagaba, Project Coordinator- Uganda
Joseph's involvement with TivaWater started in 2012 and has come full circle. He currently owns a construction supply business, but also works with TivaWater on special projects. His knowledge, experience, and passion for TivaWater makes him the perfect fit for our team. Joseph primarily identifies families in need of filters and coordinates distribution and training.
